Marrakech Faces Scheduled Power Outages for Maintenance and Grid Expansion

The autonomous water and electricity distribution agency of Marrakech has announced a series of power cuts in certain neighborhoods. The partial load shedding is due to maintenance and network expansion work.
These neighborhoods will be affected from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. On Tuesday, part of the "Mabrouka" neighborhood had been deprived of electricity. This Wednesday, it’s the turn of part of the "Loualoua" neighborhood.
Regarding Baladiat lmnara, part of the Ibn Al Banna neighborhood, part of Abou Bakr Assadiq Street and part of Jahid Street will be plunged into darkness this Thursday. As for the Sidi Ghanem industrial district, it will be affected by this power cut this Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
In addition, the agency informs users that it may however restore the electricity supply at any time without prior notice.
