Security Guard and Mistress Arrested for Intimate Encounter at Marrakech Courthouse

The events took place at the court of first instance of Marrakech last Wednesday. The guard had made an appointment with his lover in a cafe near the courthouse. Taking advantage of the momentary absence of his colleague, also a security guard, he let his girlfriend into an office of the courthouse. But he was far from imagining that his colleague was observing the scene. The latter reported him to the police commissioner stationed at the courthouse.

Several police officers were mobilized to open the office door. The thirty-year-old and his mistress were caught in the act of sexual intercourse in the office. They were arrested and placed in custody. The two defendants admitted to being married to other people.

The woman was detained as she was married, and the man was released, as his wife had not filed a complaint against him for adultery.
