Marrakech: A bar manager nicknamed "Al-Hajja" arrested
A bar manager nicknamed "Al-Hajja" was apprehended on Monday evening in Marrakech. She was transporting a significant quantity of alcohol in her vehicle, hidden under a religious garment to deceive the vigilance of the police officers.
The arrest took place on Mohammed VI Avenue by traffic police officers. The agents discovered the alcoholic beverages inside the suspect’s personal car. Known by the pseudonym "Al-Hajja", this woman runs an establishment located on the outskirts of the city. She was taken to the headquarters of the first police district to be heard as part of an official report.

According to the initial findings of the investigation, the manager was supplied by an authorized store in the city center to replenish her stock. To avoid drawing attention during the journey, she is suspected of having worn the hijab as a means of camouflage.
