Marrakech Airport Sees 25% Surge in Passenger Traffic, Ranks Second in Morocco

A total of 4,702,320 passengers were welcomed at the Ochre City Airport at the end of September 2019, compared to 3,772,017 travelers during the same period in 2018, an increase of nearly 25%.
These figures allow the Airport to hold a market share of 24.92% of all passengers in Morocco, far behind Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, which is in the lead with 41.52%.
This increase in the number of passengers was also observed at all airports at a rate of 11.99% over the same period, with 18,869,118 travelers compared to 16,849,052 in 2018, according to the monthly statistics made public by ONDA.
