Marrakech Airport Named Among World’s Most Beautiful, Ranks 3rd Globally

A Moroccan airport is in the top 3 of the most beautiful in the world. This is the result of the ranking of a French newspaper.
The Marrakech-Menara International Airport ranks 3rd in the ranking of the 10 most beautiful airports in the world, carried out by Le Figaro. "Rebuilt in 2008, Terminal 1 of Marrakech Airport boldly revisits the traditional architecture of Moroccan palaces. The facade and roof combine Islamic art motifs and futuristic shapes. The same approach for Terminal 3, inaugurated in 2016 to replace Terminal 2. In addition to the ornate facade, the entrance to the new terminal is through an 18-meter-high glass dome," describes the French newspaper.
Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport in Madrid (Spain) tops the ranking. It is followed by Oslo-Gardermoen Airport in Oslo (Norway). Denver International Airport (USA) is in 4th place. Then come the Wichita-Eisenhower National Airport in Wichita (USA), Vancouver International Airport (Canada) and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai (India). Changi International Airport in Singapore (Singapore), Beijing Daxing International Airport (China) and Tokyo Haneda International Airport (Japan) complete the top 10.
