Marrakech Airport Hits the Jackpot
Air traffic at Marrakech-Menara is soaring in 2026. With more than 1.7 million passengers welcomed in two months, the airport is confirming its role as the tourism locomotive of Morocco, driven by a significant increase in international and domestic flights.
The Marrakech-Menara International Airport is in excellent health. According to ONDA, the platform welcomed 1,769,912 travelers in the first two months of the year, marking a notable increase compared to 1.6 million in 2025. International traffic largely dominates with 1.7 million passengers, while domestic routes have jumped by nearly 29%.

For the month of February alone, the platform attracted nearly 900,000 passengers. The Parisian sky remains the preferred partner of the ochre city: the Marrakech-Paris-Orly line tops the list of international routes with more than 65,000 travelers. London and Paris-CDG airport complete this top 5 of the most frequented destinations, alongside the routes operated from Casablanca to Jeddah and Paris-Orly.

This positive momentum extends to the entire Kingdom. At the end of February 2026, Moroccan airports recorded an overall volume of 5.9 million passengers, up 7.91% year-on-year. International traffic remains the main driver of this expansion with more than 5.3 million travelers, confirming the growing attractiveness of the Moroccan destination on the global stage.
