Manhunt Intensifies for Suspects in Premeditated Murder of Moroccan Youth in Caen

A judicial investigation has been opened for "murder", nearly two weeks after the murder of the young Moroccan, Nabil, killed by a gunshot in the back, on Friday, January 24, 2020 in Caen.
The investigation, opened the day after the shooting that cost the young Moroccan his life, has taken a new turn. According to actu.fr, the Prosecutor’s Office has decided to open a judicial investigation for "murder", "complicity in murder" and "receiving stolen goods". These qualifications imply that the two hooded and armed suspects had premeditated their act, and that they are being helped in their flight, the same source indicates. This change in the investigation aims to apprehend the person(s) who are harboring the suspects, it is specified.
From now on, the men of the judicial police of Caen and those of the research section of the gendarmerie are operating under a commission rogatory, issued by an investigating judge.
As for the residents, still in shock, they organized a white march in which more than 500 people participated. They paid tribute to the young Moroccan, Nabil, in the Pierre-Heuzé neighborhood in Caen (Calvados).
However, the deceased’s brother confirmed that since yesterday, Wednesday, February 5, the body of the young Nabil has been repatriated to Morocco, thanks to the financial mobilization of the same residents of the neighborhood. According to the latest news, Nabil has been buried near his father, who died several years ago.
