Manhunt Continues for 4 Migrants After Palma Airport Escape, 21 Arrested

The Spanish police arrested on Thursday two more of the 25 Moroccan migrants who escaped from Palma airport on November 5, after an emergency landing of the Air Arabia Maroc plane. In total, 21 migrants are already in prison and the remaining four are still being sought.
The two migrants were arrested on Thursday in an apartment in the town of Inca in Majorca, bringing the total number of migrants already apprehended after their escape from Palma airport in November to 21. They were placed in pre-trial detention by the competent court, reports EFE.

The four other remaining migrants out of the 25 escapees have not yet been located by the Spanish police and the Civil Guard, who are continuing the search. Two would be in Majorca and two others would have boarded two different ferries bound for Barcelona.

Accused of attempted immigration, "endangering the lives of others and violating air security", the migrants face sentences of up to 10 years in prison.
