Manchester United Close to Sealing Deal for Moroccan Midfielder Sofyan Amrabat
The recruitment by Manchester United of Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat is imminent. The Atlas Lion is, for his part, ready to leave his club, Fiorentina, this summer.
An imminent agreement for Sofyan Amrabat? United is seeking to conclude the transaction by this weekend, Sara Meini, a journalist at TGR, is able to confirm, without however specifying the transfer amount. The Italian club has meanwhile claimed 30 million euros to let the Moroccan international leave and is not about to lower this amount. It remains to be seen whether United can negotiate a figure close to this requirement to convince Fiorentina to move its midfielder to Old Trafford.

Amrabat’s arrival at United could trigger the departure of one or more midfielders, such as Fred and Donny van de Beek, who are not in favor within Manchester. A key player for Viola and the Moroccan team last season, the 26-year-old player could be of great use to the English club.
