Manchester United’s Amrabat Deal Stalls as Club Seeks to Offload Midfielders

While the transfer window ends in early September, the transfer of Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat to Manchester United, who are so eager to recruit him, may not materialize.
Manchester United could sign Sofyan Amrabat before the end of the transfer window. Except that the English club does not, for the moment, have the means for its policy. The transfer of the Moroccan international would cost them 30 million euros, but they will have to "sell" players like Fred, Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek this summer before finalizing it, reports Daily Mail. The departure of one or the other could therefore help them conclude the transaction with Fiorentina, who are demanding 30 million euros to let their midfielder go.
The arrival of the Atlas Lion at Old Trafford could also be facilitated by the signing of Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund. The Red Devils are making this Atalanta Bergame player, who exploded last season (16 goals and 7 assists in 42 games), their priority. An agreement around 65 million euros (with 10 million in bonuses) should be reached. It remains to be seen whether the English club, which is competing with PSG in this case, will be able to outdo the Parisian club.
