Manchester United’s Amrabat Wins Hearts with Fan Interaction After Debut Match

Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat, who made his debut for Manchester United on Saturday during the Red Devils’ victory over Burnley (1-0), was amazed by the gift of a young fan of the English club.
Sofyan Amrabat was seen signing autographs for Manchester United fans. One of them offered a pair of shin guards to the Moroccan international after he signed his jersey. "Oh for me? Thank you very much, that’s very kind," the Moroccan midfielder said in a video of the interaction to thank the young fan. Amrabat then gave a "high five", before adding: "Thank you mate, I’ll wear them." Other fans appreciated this moment of exchange and sharing between the 27-year-old player and the young supporter. "This is an absolutely beautiful moment. I love seeing moments like this," one of them rejoiced. "He’s an instant fan favorite," another pointed out. "What a good guy," commented a third. "Charming," adds a fourth.
On Saturday, Amrabat made his debut for Manchester United in the Red Devils’ victory over Burnley (0-1). Replacing Jonny Evans, he came on in the 89th minute. He thus became the first Moroccan player to wear the colors of the Mancunians, which brings the number of nations that have worn the Red Devils jersey in the Premier League era to 46. The Moroccan international joined the English club at the last minute of the summer transfer window on loan from ACF Fiorentina until 2024 for a fee of 10 million euros with a purchase option of 21.5 million pounds.
