Manchester City Prospect Nabil Touaïzi Chooses Morocco Over Spain for International Career
Moroccan-Spanish international Nabil Touaïzi is now committing to the Atlas Lions, instead of La Roja. By making this choice, the young prospect of Manchester City’s reserve team could well fill the void of the striker position, which he brilliantly occupies and has been so sought after for several years within the Moroccan national team.
It is now official. Touaïzi to Morocco. Born in Spain to Moroccan parents, he had the choice between La Roja and the Atlas Lions. In the last few hours, he has made the choice of blood.
This news, revealed to the Dutch press, should delight Vahid Halilhodzic who, like Renard in the past, is looking for a striker.
By finally wearing the national flag colors, Touaïzi will fill the void so lamented during the recent continental competitions that Morocco has faced. He will therefore be able to be very useful to the Atlas Lions.
