Man Shot While Praying in Toulouse Apartment, Police Investigate Motive

A middle-aged man was shot in the hand on Saturday evening in Toulouse while praying in his apartment in the Mirail district.
The bullet is said to have passed through the outer shutter, the bedroom wall, injuring the 51-year-old man before ending up in a window, reports La Dépêche du Midi. Alerted, the firefighters arrived at the scene. They rushed the victim to the Purpan University Hospital.
The regional judicial police service in Toulouse is currently conducting an investigation to shed light on this case. The investigators will have to determine whether the injured man was targeted or if it was a stray bullet.
