Man Sentenced to 12 Years for Fatal Assault in El Jadida, Morocco

A routine incident, which could have been settled differently, between two friends, resulted in the death of the first and the imprisonment of the second. Accused of stealing the gold chain that the victim had lost during a well-attended evening in which they both participated, the defendant, who claims to have been surprised by the victim armed with a knife, had no choice but to disarm him. In an advanced state of drunkenness, this Sunday, January 20, 2019, the day of the murder, in a hair salon in El Jadida, the accused, after recovering the bladed weapon, failed to throw it away.
