Brothers Sentenced in Al Hoceima for Violent Attack Resulting in Hand Amputation

For a case of assault and battery resulting in serious damage, two brothers were sentenced to eight and four years in prison in Al Hoceima.
The verdict handed down by the criminal chamber of the Court of Appeal of Al Hoceima has certainly taken into account the seriousness of the injuries that resulted in the amputation of the victim’s hand. The two defendants had their third brother as an accomplice, who was sentenced to six months in prison, reports Aujourd’hui le Maroc.
It all started with a dispute between the three brothers and the victim, which took place last May in the Afraz neighborhood of Al Hoceima. During the altercation, the victim received a sword blow that amputated his hand. The victim was transported in very critical condition to the Mohammed V provincial hospital in Nador, and the three brothers were arrested by the judicial police, the same source specifies.
