Casablanca Court Sentences Man to 20 Years for Premeditated Murder After Reunion Gone Wrong

A 28-year-old man was sentenced by the criminal chamber near the Court of Appeal of Casablanca to twenty years in criminal confinement for voluntary homicide with premeditation and ambush.
It is the story of an outing between three friends who had lost sight of each other and decided to meet for an evening. A few beers and red wines and the three companions embarked on a discussion about the past of their neighborhood.
Among the friends, there is a young employee in a company located in the industrial zone of Tanger, who did not appreciate the teasing of another who reminded him that in elementary school, his classmates used to abuse him, reports Aujourd’hui Le Maroc.
The exchanges took a different turn to the point where the young man from Tanger, unable to bear the memory recalled by his friend, grabbed a beer bottle, broke it and struck two blows to the victim. He loses consciousness and dies on the spot.
