Major Drug Kingpin Arrested Near Agadir in Surprise Police Raid

It was in Keliaa, a small town near Agadir, that the anti-gang brigade put an end, on Wednesday, to the long run of the "Pablo Escobar", who had long terrorized the entire region.
Wanted on a dozen arrest warrants, the thirty-year-old was involved in large-scale drug and alcohol trafficking as well as in bloody crimes. His mother, better known as the "iron lady", had been arrested a few months ago.
According to the site Agadir24, the eldest son was apprehended during a surprise police raid at the family home in Keliaa. The intervention allowed the seizure of large quantities of cannabis, marijuana and tobacco.
The mountainous regions in this area have always been the scene of bloody clashes between drug traffickers. The name Escobar had been mentioned several times during police interrogations.
