Major Airlines Eye Lucrative Casablanca-Tel Aviv Route Amid Morocco-Israel Normalization

The Casablanca-Tel Aviv line will not only be served by Moroccan and Israeli companies. Foreign airlines, eager to take advantage of the resumption of relations between the two countries, have also expressed their willingness to offer flights between Morocco and Israel.

These companies wish to benefit from their share of the cake following the normalization of relations between Morocco and Israel. After the announcement of Royal Air Maroc launching its first flights this month and that of the Israeli airlines El Israel Airlines, Al Israir and Arkia Israeli Airlines, it is the turn of the Emirates company. It offers daily flights from the big metropolis to Israel at a rate of three flights per day. While the flights will last between 14 and 30 hours, they should cost up to 21,000 DH round trip.

As for the German company Lufthansa AG, it plans to operate weekly connections of 9 to 17 hours with a stopover in Frankfurt. As for Air France, it has planned four regular flights per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) for a duration ranging from 12 to 18 hours. Mandatory stopovers are announced for these connections at Paris Charles De Gaulle airport.

As for the Turkish companies, also interested in this new line, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus announce flights between the two countries, with stopovers in Istanbul.
