Magnitude 4.4 Earthquake Strikes Off Morocco’s Northern Coast

The National Institute of Geophysics (ING) announced that a seismic shock of 4.4 degrees on the open Richter scale was recorded on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 off the coast of the province of Driouch.
The epicenter of the shock is located off the coast of the province, according to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING). This earthquake occurred at 10:11:52 (GMT+1), according to the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING in a seismic alert bulletin.
The felt shock has a depth of 26 km, a latitude of 35.483°N and a longitude of 3.610°W, adds the same source.
