Magnitude 4.0 Earthquake Strikes Off Morocco’s Northern Coast

The National Institute of Geophysics (ING) announced that a seismic shock of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale was recorded on Monday, February 21, 2022 off the coast of the province of Driouch.
Driouch hit by an earthquake again. The epicenter of the shock is located off the coast of the province, according to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING). This earthquake occurred at 5:00:03 PM (GMT+1), according to the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING in a seismic alert bulletin. The felt shock has a depth of 15 km, a latitude of 35.555°N and a longitude of 3.580°W, adds the same source.
Earlier in the day, the National Institute of Geophysics reported having recorded a seismic shock of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale off the coast of the same province. This earthquake occurred at 8:50:39 AM (GMT+1). The minor tremor felt has a depth of 23 km, a latitude of 35.494°N and a longitude of 3.654°W, it is specified.
