Magnitude 4.4 Earthquake Strikes Off Coast of Driouch, Morocco

The National Institute of Geophysics (ING) announced that a seismic shock of magnitude 4.4 on the open Richter scale hit Driouch on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
The afternoon of Saturday, April 16 was eventful in Driouch. A new shock was recorded in the province. The shock, the epicenter of which is located off the coast of the province of Driouch, occurred at 2:36:05 pm (GMT), specified the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING in a seismic alert bulletin.
The felt shock had a depth of 6 km, a latitude of 35.678°N and a longitude of 3.590°W.
