3.0 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Northern Morocco’s Nador Province

The National Institute of Geophysics (ING) announced that the province of Nador, in northern Morocco, recorded a seismic shock with a magnitude of 3.0 degrees on the Richter scale.
Although very slight, the shock, the epicenter of which is located in the commune of Tiztoutine, occurred at 11:44:49 pm (GMT+1). The National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING announced it in a seismic alert bulletin.
The felt shock has a depth of 3.77 km, a latitude of 35.007° N and a longitude of 3.095° W.
The last shock in the region dates back to last month. It had affected the province of Driouch with a shock of 4.0 degrees on the Richter scale.
