Minor 2.1 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Coast of Northern Morocco

A slight seismic shock was felt on Thursday in the province of Driouch, according to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).
According to the National Institute of Geophysics (ING), it was a seismic shock with a magnitude of 2.1 on the Richter scale. The ING reports that the shock occurred at 7:09:54 PM (GMT).
In a seismic alert bulletin, the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING specified that the epicenter of the shock was located off the coast of Bni Marghnine. The shock also has the following characteristics: 6 km depth, 35.248°N latitude and 3.530°W longitude.
