Luxury Yacht M’diq Morocco Billionaire Salinas Pliego
The Lady Moura, a luxurious yacht of approximately 105 meters, attracted all eyes as it dropped anchor off the beaches of M’diq, in northern Morocco. This majestic vessel belongs to the extremely wealthy Mexican businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego.
Beachgoers present on the Tamuda Bay coastline witnessed the mooring of one of the world’s largest pleasure vessels. Ranked twentieth globally, this floating palace impresses with its architecture, displaying its name in pure 24-karat gold letters on its sides.

The current owner, who ranks fifth among Mexico’s greatest fortunes, acquired this vessel in 2021. Ricardo Salinas Pliego spent nearly 125 million dollars to purchase the boat from its original sponsor, Saudi entrepreneur Nasser Al-Rashid. The latter had it built in 1990 by the renowned German shipyards Blohm+Voss.

A true seven-star hotel, the vessel requires a crew of over sixty sailors to ensure service. The onboard equipment multiplies superlatives with a helicopter ready for use on its helipad, a retractable roof swimming pool and a small clinic.
