Liverpool Eyes Moroccan Defender Zouhair Feddal as Potential Lovren Replacement

The Moroccan international, Zouhair Feddal, is on Liverpool’s radar. The reigning European champions and Premier League leaders want to recruit him into their squad.
The central defender of Real Betis, Zouhair Feddal, could soon join the club of the coach, Jürgen Klopp, who is closely monitoring him, reports the British daily Liverpool Echo. Once transferred to this major European club, the Atlas Lion should replace the Croatian, Dejan Lovren, who is about to leave Anfield next summer.
According to the same newspaper, Zouhair Feddal’s (31 years old) experience would be highlighted in this case. A starter on his arrival at Betis, at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season, then victim of an Achilles tendon rupture, and gradually sidelined, the Moroccan player had missed signing his transfer to Valencia, during the last transfer window.
According to AS, the Spanish sports daily, the Moroccan player wants to feel important again, a few months before the end of his contract with Betis (11 matches this season). His club, Betis, would also be open to the sale, provided they pocket more than the 2.5 million euros spent on his transfer from Deportivo Alavés in July 2017.
