La Liga Trio Vie for Moroccan Defender Jawad El Yamiq Amid Strong Season

Moroccan international Jawad El Yamiq is closely followed by three first division clubs in the Spanish championship (La Liga). These are FC Valencia, Real Betis and Alaves.
These three clubs all want to secure the services of the 28-year-old Moroccan player, on loan until the end of the season by Genoa to Real Zaragoza (2nd division), report El Periodico de Aragon and Mundo Deportivo.
Thanks to his performances, the Atlas Lion has earned his place as an undisputed starter in the technical schemes of coach Victor Fernandez, since his arrival last January.
According to the same source, the Aragonese club, the second best club in the Spanish second division, aims to realize its dream of returning to Liga at the end of the season.
To recall, Jaouad El Yamiq had spent five years with his training club, before joining Raja in the summer transfer window of 2016. In January 2018, he had signed a three-year contract with the Italian club Genoa CFC.
