Real Valladolid’s Moroccan Defender El Yamiq Tests Positive for COVID-19, Out for Valencia Match

Moroccan international Jawad El Yamiq who plays for Real Valladodid has tested positive for coronavirus. The club announced it on Saturday.
With this Covid-19 contamination, the Moroccan defender of Real Valladolid, Jawad El Yamiq, will not be able to be part of the confrontation that the club plays this Sunday against Valencia, his club has confirmed. "At the express request of the footballer himself, we inform that it is Jawad El Yamiq, who has been isolated at his home. The result has been transferred to the health authorities, to La Liga, to the Royal Spanish Football Federation and to the Higher Sports Council."
The Moroccan player has assured that he remains "in constant contact" with these bodies, and is collaborating "closely" to preserve the health of all those involved.
