Real Betis Players Feddal and Carvalho Test Positive for COVID-19, Club Confirms
Moroccan Zouhair Feddal and Portuguese William Carvalho of the Spanish club Real Betis have tested positive for coronavirus. The two players are now isolated at home.
"The affected persons are asymptomatic and in good health. Once the results were known, the club took extreme isolation measures for all members of the expedition and in the next few hours, new PCR tests will be carried out," reads the text published by Real Betis.
Feddal signed at the end of July for four seasons with Sporting Lisbon, the newspaper specifies. He had joined Betis in 2017 for 2.5 million euros, from Deportivo Alavés. He did not have much opportunity to show his defensive talents with the championship stopped.
