Liverpool Eyeing Moroccan Striker Youssef En-Nesyri, Former Player Suggests

Former Atlas Lion Nabil El Zhar thinks that Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri could be an asset for Liverpool. He would have advised his former club to acquire the services of the Sevilla FC striker during the summer transfer window.
After leaving Liverpool in 2011, Nabil El Zhar has remained very close to the club and maintains very good relations with the management and sometimes gives his opinion on potential recruits.
In an interview with Liverpool.com, El Zhar stated that Youssef En-Nesyri is the type of player who could fit Liverpool’s style of play. "He’s a very good player. He caught Covid just before the Africa Cup of Nations and he’s been struggling with injuries, but he’s a very, very good player," said El Zhar.
He argues that the Sevilla FC player could make any club happy given his mentality and potential. "He’s fast, he runs a lot, he has great speed, intensity, he presses the ball and he’s always moving on the pitch. He’s a very interesting player," estimates the former Atlas Lion.
Nabil El Zhar claims that not only is his former teammate a talented player, but also a very nice person. "He’s also a very good guy. When he arrived at Leganes, he was like a kid and he always listened to advice. He’s a calm guy who respects everyone and a great professional."
At 24 years old, Youssef En-Nesyri has reached the peak of his career at Sevilla in a few months, crossing the 20-goal mark for the first time. Many European clubs have put him on their shortlist. West Ham United had even made an offer of around 25 million euros rejected by the Andalusian club.
