Ligue 1: Marseille and Nantes in the running for a Moroccan striker

This is not the first time the Marseille club has shown interest in the 32-year-old player’s profile. After being close to reaching an agreement last summer, OM has decided to reopen the file. The technical staff, led by Roberto De Zerbi, would be convinced by the player’s suitability with the team’s philosophy. The Italian coach particularly appreciates the Moroccan’s tactical versatility, his intelligence of movement in the box, and his ability to capitalize on "half-chances".

A market opportunity at 5 million euros

The feasibility of the transfer seems real. The Olympiacos management could be flexible about the departure of its striker, whose contract runs until June 2026. The Greek club, eager to renew its attack, would seek to avoid a free departure of the player in the future. With an estimated market value of around 5 million euros and an annual salary close to 1.025 million euros, the operation is considered an attractive and reasonably priced option.
