Leeds Offer £43,500 Weekly Wage to Morocco’s Ounahi Amid Transfer Battle
Leeds is in pole position to recruit Azzedine Ounahi during the January transfer window. The English club has made an offer to the Moroccan international whose contract with Angers SCO runs until June 2026. Will he refuse this salary?
Leeds is offering the Angers SCO midfielder a salary of £43,500 per week to convince him to move to Elland Road, reports HITC. The player has not yet reacted to this proposal. But the English club will have to face competition. Napoli also wants to sign the Atlas Lion.
Will the luck be on the Italian club’s side? "Regarding the Naples transfer market, we can say that Leeds is in pole position for the Moroccan Azzedine Ounahi. The English have offered 25 M€ to Angers and 2.5 M€ to the player, figures higher than those proposed by Napoli who had stopped at 1.5 M€," journalist Ciro Venerato said.
