Moroccan Midfielder Ounahi Outshines Mbappé, Neymar as Ligue 1's Second-Best Dribbler

Moroccan international Azzedine Ounahi, who plays for Angers, was elected second best dribbler in Ligue 1 for the 2022-2023 season, ahead of the PSG stars, Kylian Mbappé and Neyma Jr.

The young midfielder has been recognized for his prowess during Angers’ matches. Ounahi has always stood out for his technical ease, agility and speed in breaking through opposing defenses.

With a ratio of 37 successful dribbles, i.e. a rate of 53%, the 22-year-old player was ranked second best dribbler in the French championship behind Argentine Lionel Messi, who recorded 48 successful dribbles, i.e. a rate of 54%.

With this feat, the Atlas Lion has surpassed the two other stars of the French capital club, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar. The French striker is fifth in the ranking with 30 successful dribbles (31%), while the Brazilian is 8th with 28 successful dribbles (38%).

It should be recalled that Ounahi was one of the revelations of the last World Cup, arousing the interest of several major European clubs such as: Napoli, Tottenham and Leicester since the end of the competition. One of them could sign him this winter, according to certain sources.
