Video Leads to Arrest in Marrakech Tourist Robbery Case

A Japanese tourist was the victim of a snatch theft in the old medina of Marrakech. Two assailants were both identified thanks to a surveillance camera video. One of them was arrested.
After a snatch theft targeting a Japanese tourist in the old medina of the ochre city, the DGSN was able to identify the two suspects, and arrest one of them.
According to the article19 website: "Thanks to a surveillance camera that filmed the act of the snatch theft committed by two individuals against a Japanese tourist in one of the neighborhoods of the old medina, the DGSN indicated in a press release that it had "interacted seriously and quickly" by arresting one of the suspects".
The search continues to arrest the second suspect. The one who was arrested is 21 years old and would have a fairly full criminal record. He was placed in custody pending the end of the investigation before appearing before a judge to answer for his actions.
