Kuwaiti National Detained in Marrakech Pool Death Investigation

After his arrest and presentation by the royal gendarmerie services before the public prosecutor’s office, a Kuwaiti national was placed in detention. Ten individuals, in addition to the main suspect, are suspected of being involved in the death of a young woman after her fall into a villa pool located in Ouahat Sidi Brahim in Marrakech.
The investigation into the death of a 20-year-old woman after her fall into a villa pool located in Ouahat Sidi Brahim in Marrakech is ongoing. On Friday, the royal gendarmerie services presented 11 defendants before the public prosecutor’s office, reports the local site kech24. The latter decided to prosecute a Kuwaiti national who is among them in a state of arrest for sexual assault on a minor, corruption and possession and consumption of drugs. A Moroccan national manager of the tourist complex is also being prosecuted in a state of arrest. She is accused of having prepared a place of prostitution. The nine other defendants - 6 Kuwaiti nationals and 3 young women, one of whom is a minor - are, for their part, placed under judicial control.
The victim’s body was handed over to her family. And, the funeral was organized. Additional analyzes have meanwhile been requested to reinforce the result of the medical autopsy.
The elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in Marrakech had gone to the "N. Nakhil" residence, located in Sidi Brahim, as part of the investigation into the death of a young woman after her fall into a villa pool located in Sidi Ibrahim in Marrakech. Subsequently, two young Kuwaiti nationals who had taken the victim to a private clinic following her fall had been arrested.
