Kushner Leads US-Israeli Delegation to Morocco on Historic Flight After Sahara Deal

A few days after President Trump’s recognition of the Moroccanness of the Sahara, an American-Israeli delegation led by special adviser Jared Kushner arrived in the kingdom aboard an El Al airline plane.
Flight LY555 took off on Tuesday, December 22 at 9:30 a.m. from Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv for Rabat. On board were senior American and Israeli officials led by Trump’s special adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Before the takeoff of this first commercial flight to Morocco, the adviser said that "President Trump has worked to promote peace in the Middle East and he has brought the people of this region together," reports i24news.tv.
According to him, "the state of affairs over the past 75 years where Jews and Muslims were separated was not a natural state since Jews and Muslims have always lived side by side in this region. Today, we are restoring the normal situation of this coexistence," he added.
This Tel Aviv/Rabat flight, which is to be followed by the opening of the air link between the two countries, will be accompanied by the signing of several agreements, according to the program being prepared in Rabat.
