King Mohammed VI Rebukes Moroccan MPs for Pushing Female Colleague

The behavior of a deputy at the headquarters of the Moroccan Parliament was not to the liking of King Mohammed VI, who expressed his displeasure to him directly.
On the occasion of the opening of the new legislative session at the Parliament headquarters in Rabat, a female MP asked to take a photo with King Mohammed VI, before the royal convoy left.
Responding favorably to her wish, the Sovereign was surprised to see certain elected officials push the young woman, rushing to his side. He then asked the latter to give way to the female MP, declaring: "Shame on you for pushing a lady! It’s shameful."
The Sovereign’s reaction was enough to put everyone back in their place. On Friday, October 11, Mohammed VI had delivered an important speech during the opening of the first session of the fourth legislative year of the tenth legislature.
