King Mohammed VI Mourns Passing of Moroccan Music Icon Sakina Safadi
Following the death of the artist Sakina Safadi, King Mohammed VI sent a message to her family and loved ones.
In his message, King Mohammed VI paid tribute to the talent of the artist whose name will forever be engraved in the repertoire of Ghiwane song, emphasizing the major role that Sakina Safadi had played within the "Jil Jilala" Group, of which she was one of the founding members.
While presenting his condolences and sincere compassion to the family of the deceased and, through them, to all her loved ones and her great national artistic family, the Moroccan sovereign indicated that the late Sakina Safadi was an artist with multiple talents, known for her sincere patriotism.
