King Mohammed VI of Morocco Relocates Main Residence to Skhirat Palace

King Mohammed VI would have finally decided to make the Skhirat palace his main residence, after having long stayed at the El Mechouar palace in Rabat.
While the sovereign was considering spending his summer vacation at the royal palace of Skhirat, the staff of the royal residence would have recently been informed of the Sovereign’s intention to settle there permanently, reports the weekly Alayam.
In parallel, adds the media, several rooms have been booked at the Amphitrite Palace beach hotel, a luxury space located near the royal palace, in the names of personalities close to the king.
Several arrangements have been made in preparation for the imminent arrival of King Mohammed VI, including the development of outdoor spaces and the rehabilitation of the axis connecting the royal palace to the highway.
