King Mohammed VI’s Trusted Physician: The Discreet Guardian of Royal Health

Personal physician to King Mohammed VI and main responsible for the royal palace clinic, Professor Abdelaziz El Maaouni is part of the small circle surrounding the Sovereign.
Since the enthronement of the king in July 1999, all the official press releases, issued by the royal cabinet on the health of the Sovereign, have been signed by the "palace physician".
Discreet and a man of trust, Pr El Maaouni, as testified by Huffington Post, has always accompanied the king in all his travels and meticulously ensuring his health and safety.
This heavy responsibility, dictated by the nature of his profession and the sensitivity of the task assigned to him, imposes a great discretion on him and keeps him away from the media scene, adds the site.
Chairman and CEO of the Cheikh Khalifa Ibn Zaid Al Nahyan Foundation, the one who is originally from Beni Mellal, devotes part of his time to listening to citizens who request the Sovereign for medical care.
