King Mohammed VI Greeted by Crowds During Brief Visit to Ifrane

In a festive atmosphere, the small Moroccan Switzerland welcomed King Mohammed VI on Saturday evening, February 22, for a short visit from his private residence in Douiyet, in Moulay Yaacoub.
A significant security device, composed of elements of the police and the Royal Gendarmerie, was put in place along the route leading to the city of Ifrane.
Hundreds of residents came to welcome and cheer the Sovereign, while security measures were taken throughout the passage of the royal cortege, under the direction of the provincial governor.
Later in the evening, King Mohammed VI returned to his residence in Douiyet, where a busy agenda awaits him for the rest of his stay in Fez.
