King Mohammed VI Expresses Frustration Over Delayed Fez Development Project

The delay in the progress of a major development project in Fez would have been the source of the anger of King Mohammed VI, who is currently enjoying a few days of rest in his residence at the royal farm of Douiyet.
During an impromptu visit to the streets of the spiritual capital, the Sovereign noted delays in the execution of an important construction site, which is part of the development plan in the city of Fez.
According to the site Akhbarona, the monarch immediately expressed his dissatisfaction to the authorities concerned, who ordered the suspension of the person in charge of monitoring the project and the opening of an investigation. A decision which, according to the same source, could lead to other sanctions.
For the record, King Mohammed VI chose to spend the end-of-year holidays in his residence in Douiyet, about twelve kilometers from Fez. A week earlier, he had presided over the signing of the historic tripartite agreement between Morocco, the United States and Israel.
