King Mohammed VI Arrives in Fez Following Historic US-Israel-Morocco Agreement

A few days after the signing of the tripartite agreement between Morocco, the United States and Israel, King Mohammed VI has set his sights on the spiritual capital Fez.
According to the Assahafa website, the Sovereign arrived on Saturday early afternoon in Fez, before heading to his residence at the royal farm of Douiyet, about twelve kilometers from the city center.
The local authorities, who are on the alert, have deployed a large security system along the route taken by the Sovereign. Intense activity has been observed in the city, in anticipation of the private visit of the monarch, the same source points out.
Recall that King Mohammed VI had presided on Tuesday over the signing of an agreement between Morocco, the United States and Israel. This historic initiative provides for the resumption of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel.
