King Mohammed VI Directs Strong State Support for Morocco’s Private Sector Recovery

King Mohammed VI received the office of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and several members of the government at his office. The sovereign gave instructions for there to be a strong mobilization of the State around economic operators in order to ensure the success of the resumption of activities in the private sector.
"His Majesty the King is closely following the ongoing actions and supporting the private sector. In this regard, he has given His High Instructions for the State, through strong mobilization, to accompany the economic operators in order to ensure the success of this recovery," said Chakib Alj on Thursday, May 28, during the CGEM board meeting.
"This message with a strong strategic scope was transmitted to us during the meeting to which the entire CGEM Office and I were invited to the royal cabinet. This meeting was also attended by several members of the government," said the CGEM president. The latter thanked King Mohammed VI for his support and confidence in economic operators, of all ranks, sectors and regions.
"This royal confidence honors us and strengthens our determination to succeed in reviving our economy, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty, in the values of solidarity, patriotism and citizenship," added the CGEM president.
