King Mohammed VI Congratulates AS FAR on CAF Women’s Champions League Victory

King Mohammed VI has sent his congratulations to the players of AS FAR, who won the final of the CAF Women’s Champions League on Sunday.
After its large victory (4-0) over the South Africans of Mamelodi Sundowns, the women’s football club of the FAR received the congratulations of the king. In his message, Mohammed VI saluted the players for having won the 2nd edition of this competition.
The sovereign also sent his warm congratulations to all those who contributed to this new consecration, which is the fruit, according to him, of overflowing energy, a high competitive spirit and determination. Not to mention the coaches, the technical and administrative staff and the supporters.
While reiterating his thanks to the team for this new distinction, the king expressed his pride in the achievements of Moroccan women’s football at the national, continental and international levels, and its contribution to the promotion of Moroccan sport in its various disciplines. The monarch wishes them more success and titles and has assured the players of AS FAR and the leaders of his benevolence and support.
