King Mohammed VI at the bedside of the earthquake victims

King Mohammed VI is making a field visit to the regions affected by the deadly earthquake that shook Morocco, killing more than 2,800 and injuring 2,501.
King Mohammed VI is visiting this Tuesday, September 12, the regions affected by the violent earthquake that occurred on Friday night into Saturday, confirm well-informed sources to Maghreb-intelligence. The sovereign’s plane should land in the afternoon at Marrakech-Menara airport. On the agenda of this field visit: an inspection of the health facilities in the ochre city and a visit to the heavily affected localities, including the Asni camp which houses several homeless people. According to the same sources, King Mohammed VI could stay in Marrakech in a bivouac set up for the occasion. A way for him to show his proximity to the populations as he had done in the past when the cold wave had claimed victims in the locality
