Kickboxing Star Alistair Overeem Suspended for Doping, Victory Over Badr Hari Nullified

Glory, the world’s leading kickboxing league, has suspended the Dutchman Alistair Overeem for one year, the opponent of Moroccan champion Badr Hari. The organization has also removed him from its rankings due to a violation of anti-doping rules.
Alistair Overeem will return to the ring after twelve months. The organization suspended him for a period of one year after a doping test, Vechtsportinfo reported on its Twitter account. Information was confirmed to MMA Fighting by Glory officials. The Dutchman had his A and B samples tested and the results were positive. Overeem’s victory over Moroccan champion Badr Hari in his first fight at Glory in 2022 has also been canceled. He is required to return a percentage of his fight earnings.
This is not the first time the one who has moved from the UFC to Glory has tested positive for a banned substance. The Nevada Athletic Commission had suspended Overeem for nine months after he tested positive for high levels of testosterone, twice the allowed limit in the state at the time.
