Jamel Debbouze’s ’Marrakech du Rire’ Comedy Gala Draws Record 3 Million Viewers on M6

The gala for the ten years of Marrakech du rire broadcast on M6 set a new audience record. Jamel Debbouze and his guests gathered more than 3 million viewers.
Even though "Tandem", the crime series on France 3, had somewhat outpaced the festival in terms of audience, in ten years Marrakech du rire had not seen such a record, according to Médiamétrie. Announced for several weeks with a major media campaign, the broadcast of the ten years of Marrakech du rire kept its promises with 2.9 million viewers. It could not have been otherwise with guests such as Nawell Madani, Paul Mirabel and Ahmed Sylla who kept the viewers spellbound.
"Tandem", the crime series on France 3 led by Astrid Veillon and Stéphane Blancafort, attracted 3.3 million viewers, thus taking first place ahead of Jamel Debbouze who took 2nd place. "Superman and Lois", the superheroes, came in 3rd.
Michel Cymes and Adriana Karembeu and their magazine on alternative medicines, "The Powers of the Human Body", came in last place with 1.9 million viewers, according to Médiamétrie.
