Jamel Debbouze’s Marrakech Comedy Festival Celebrates 10 Years on W9

Thursday 9 February 2023, by Ginette

W9 is going into rerun mode this Thursday starting at 9:15 pm, the 10th anniversary of the Marrakech du Rire. An entertainment program that has the power to boost TV channel audiences.

From June 15 to 18, 2022, the Marrakech du Rire celebrated its tenth anniversary. The event mobilized most of the artists who have hosted the show over the past ten years, football stars and the various partners who have accompanied its promoter, the Moroccan comedian Jamel Debbouze.

It is therefore this moment of entertainment, laughter and unforgettable encounters, of reunions that W9 is preparing to rebroadcast for the delight of its viewers. Defined as a "multicultural festival that strengthens the bonds of friendship between France and Morocco", the Marrakech du Rire for its tenth anniversary, brought together a nice bunch of artists and guests.

Among them, we can mention Kev Adams, Michaël Youn, Jarry, Jeff Panacloc, Ahmed Sylla, Kad Merad, Camille Lellouche, Caroline Vigneaux, Booder, Nawell Madani, Elie Semoun, Maxime Gasteuil, Paul Mirabel, Waly Dia, Fatsah Bouyahmed, Redouanne Harjane. There were also new artists who joined the festival team.

This rebroadcast has every chance of setting an audience record as was the case on M6 with nearly 3 million viewers.
