Jamel Debbouze Announces 10th Anniversary Marrakech Comedy Festival for June

The 10th edition of the Marrakech du Rire, a festival initiated by the Franco-Moroccan comedian Jamel Debouze, will be held from June 9 to 14 in Marrakech.
The dates of the 10th edition of the comedy festival par excellence in the ochre city, the Marrakech du Rire (MDR), are known. The festivities of this anniversary edition, which marks an important turning point in the history of the MDR, are announced for the period from June 9 to 14, 2020. "10 years! We are proud to announce the 10th edition of the @marrakechdurire from June 9 to 14! With 10 times more laughter and 10 times more fun," Jamel Debbouze said on his Instagram account.
The first French-speaking comedy festival in the world, Marrakech du Rire is organized every year by the Franco-Moroccan comedian since 2011. It helps to strengthen the ties between cultures and to bring together fans of comedy, we are told.
It should be noted that over the past 9 editions, several French-speaking and Arabic-speaking comedians have performed in front of a large audience in the city of Marrakech, attracting around 90,000 festival-goers and reaching 70 million viewers worldwide.
