El Jadida Man Jailed for Multiple Offenses Including Mask Violation and Domestic Violence

The criminal chamber near the court of first instance of El Jadida recently sentenced a sexagenarian to 4 months in prison for violation of the state of emergency, domestic violence and issuing a bad check.
Arrested by the royal gendarmerie of Ouled Ghanem for not wearing a protective mask, the individual, after searches in the database, was the subject of an arrest warrant for issuing a check without provision of 8,000 dirhams.
Also prosecuted by his wife for domestic violence, the accused had the bad idea of presenting the gendarmes with a false derogatory travel certificate, reports the newspaper Assabah.
Abandoned by his wife, who no longer kept her promise to waive the request and regularize the bad check, the individual was prosecuted by the Court for the three charges against him.
